Eidos Partners announces the completion of the voluntary tender offer on Valentino Fashion Group S.p.A. (“VFG”) by Red & Black Lux S.àr.l. (“R&B”), a company controlled by Permira Funds. Acceptances to the offer amounted to approximately 24.5% of VFG’s capital.

Considering the shares tendered in the offer and the shares previously acquired, the subsidiaries of Permira Funds, and the other parties to the shareholders’ agreement, will hold together a 97.1% stake in VFG.

This transaction represents the largest private equity acquisition in the luxury sector worldwide and implied a particularly high level of complexity involving also a tender offer on all ordinary and preferred shares of the German-based company Hugo Boss A.G., controlled by VFG.
